unthaw puff pastries according to package
roll out and cut into 6 equal rectangles (total of 12 pieces)
spread apple butter over each (about 2 tbsp/piece)
add apple pie filling on top (instructions below)
place the other puff pastry on top and press together on all sides using your fingers
bake at 400F for 20-23 min or until golden
icing: mix powdered sugar + milk of choice until desired consistency
apple pie filling:
melt 2 tbsp butter over low heat and add in 2 tbsp organic cane sugar + 2 tsp cinnamon
add in 2 apples (peeled and cut into small pieces)
let it simmer for about 5 min
sprinkle 1 tbsp arrowroot flour and stir
