Ingredients
15 oz can tomato sauce
14.5 oz can diced tomatoes
15 oz can black beans
6 oz can tomato paste
1 lb lean ground meat of choice
1 sweet yellow onion, diced
1 red pepper, diced
2 c bone broth (can sub water)
1 1/2 cup elbow pasta
Instructions
Toss canned ingredients in crockpot (low heat) and stir. While that is warming cook meat, onion, diced pepper, salt and pepper and add to crockpot when finished.
Add seasonings to taste: chili powder, salt and pepper, cayenne
Add 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar and 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
Allow to cook on low for three hours, stirring occasionally.
Add bone broth (or water) and pasta and let it sit for another 1-2 hours. Stir occasionally until ready to serve.
