G I A N T cinnamon roll poptart

used my cinnamon roll recipe as inspo for this giant poptart flavor⭐️ taste + texture were perfect!

recipe—
preheat oven to 400F
add 1 3/4 cup all purpose flour to a large mixing bowl + 2 tbsp granulated sugar
grate 2 sticks of butter (1 cup) {yes it will look like shredded cheese}
add to flour and cut in using pastry cutter
(should be crumbly)
pour in 1/2 cup cold water and stir together until a ball forms (may need 1-2 more tbsp)

flour a counter surface and place dough
separate into 2 equal sections
flatten both pieces into rectangles (about the size of a piece of 8x11 paper)
place one on a lined baking sheet
melt 2 tbsp butter and mix in 1/4 cup brown sugar + 2 tsp cinnamon and spread on top of one and lay the other on top
cut with a pizza cutter to make all sides even
press down with a fork around the poptart
brush milk of choice on top
bake for 27-33 min or until golden
icing: 1 cup powdered sugar + 1 tsp cinnamon + 1 tbsp milk

like regular sugar cookies but with a little chocolate flavor + fun valentines day sprinkles💘

recipe—
in a bowl, mix together 1 cup all purpose flour + 1/3 cup cocoa powder
in another bowl, cream together 1/2 cup softened butter + 1/2 cup granulated sugar + 2 tsp vanilla
whisk in 1 egg
add in dry ingredients
form into a ball
separate into 2 sections, flatten/roll out and refrigerate between parchment paper for at least 1 hour
cut out using heart shape cookie cutters
bake for 10-12 min
icing: 1 cup powdered sugar + 1 tbsp milk of choice
dye free sprinkles are from Trader Joe’s!

cinnamon roll pull apart bread

my go-to roll recipe just baked in a different pan to change it up! so so cozy and yummy!

recipe—
dough:
microwave 3/4 cup milk of choice for 45 seconds
pour into stand mixer bowl
sprinkle 1 packet active dry yeast and whisk until bubbles form
add in 1/4 cup melted butter + 1/4 cup granulated sugar
whisk in 2 eggs
add in 3 cups all purpose or bread flour and using stand mixer, knead on level 2 until dough forms
place dough in a lightly oiled bowl and cover with warm towel
let rise for 1-2 hours or until doubled in size

rolls:
place dough on floured surface and roll out into large rectangle (about 8x14”)
brush 1/4 cup melted butter evenly
sprinkle 1/3 cup brown sugar + 2 tbsp cinnamon on top
cut into 12 even strips and roll into a roll
mash each roll down to flatten
place on a loaf/bread pan
cover with warm towel and allow to rise while oven preheats to 350F
pour 1/3 cup half & half or heavy cream beneath rolls
bake for 40+ min or until golden

icing: 1 1/2 cup powdered sugar + 1-2 tbsp milk of choice
