preheat oven to 350F
cream together 1/2 cup softened butter + 2/3 cup granulated sugar + zest from 1 lemon
whisk in 2 eggs + 2 tbsp lemon juice
add in 3/4 cup all purpose flour + 1/4 tsp baking powder
press batter into lined 9×9 dish and bake for 23-26 min or until golden and toothpick comes out clean
glaze: 1 cup powdered sugar + 1-2 tbsp lemon juice
