recipe—
preheat oven to 375F
mix together 1/3 cup softened butter + 1/2 cup granulated sugar + 1 tsp vanilla
microwave 1/2 cup milk of choice for 30 sec and mix in
whisk in 1 egg until combined
add in 1 1/2 cup all purpose flour + 1 tsp baking powder
make praline topping:
in a saucepan over med heat, add 6 tbsp butter + 1/3 cup granulated sugar + 2 maple syrup + 1 tbsp flour + 1 tbsp heavy cream (or milk of choice) + 1 cup sliced almonds and whisk until bubbly
lower heat and let it sit, whisking occasionally until thickens
add half the batter evenly to a lined/oiled muffin pan (9 total)
in a small bowl mix together 2 tbsp brown sugar + 1 tsp cinnamon
sprinkle over batter
add remaining batter on top
spoon praline topping on top
bake for 23-25 min or until toothpick comes out clean
