Ingredients
  • 1 1/2cup white whole wheat flour
  • 1tsp baking soda
  • 1/2cup coconut oilmelted
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3cup coconut sugar
  • 1/4cup maple syrup
  • 1/2cup crushed pecanstoast at 350F for 7 min for extra flavor
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350F
  2. In a bowl, mix together the flour and baking soda
  3. In another bowl, cream the coconut oil/butter with the coconut sugar.
  4. Beat in the egg and maple syrup
  5. Add the flour mixture to the wet and mix thoroughly
  6. Fold in pecans
  7. Refrigerate dough for 30 minutes
  8. Scoop and roll onto parchment paper lined baking sheet
  9. Flatten with palm and top with more pecans
  10. Bake for 12-14 minutes or until edges are golden brown
