Ingredients
Crust:
1 1/2
cup
almond flour
1/4
cup
coconut flour
1/2
tsp
baking soda

tsp
cinnamon

egg
1/4
cup
maple syrup
1/4
cup
unsweetened applesauce
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350F
Mix together the flours, baking soda and cinnamon
In another bowl, mix the egg, maple syrup and applesauce
Add the flour mixture to the wet mixture and stir until fully combined
Scoop into oiled or lined muffin pan and make a small indent into the center of the batter
Bake for 14-16 minutes (until crust is golden)
While the crust is cooling, cut up a large apple (or a couple smaller ones) into small pieces
Warm in coconut oil over low heat
After 2 minutes, add 1 tbsp arrowroot powder, juice from 1/2 a lemon and sprinkle cinnamon over apples
Let them sit over low heat until soft
Add on top of crust and enjoy! 🙂
