Soft & Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients
  • 1/2cup buttersoftened
  • 1/2cup coconut sugar or dark brown sugar
  • 1/4cup organic cane sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1tsp vanilla
  • 1 3/4cup organic all purpose flour
  • 1tsp baking soda
  • 1 1/2tsp arrowrootcan sub cornstarch
  • 3/4cup dark chocolate chips
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350F
  2. Cream together the softened butter and sugars. Beat in the egg and vanilla and set aside
  3. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking soda and arrowroot.
  4. Add dry ingredients to wet and mix well
  5. Fold in chocolate chips
  6. Chill dough in refrigerator for 45 min (prevents overspreading)
  7. Scoop and roll onto lined cookie sheet
  8. Flatten slightly
  9. Bake for 8 min & enjoy! 🙂
