preheat oven to 400F
cream together 1/2 cup softened butter + 1/2 cup brown sugar + 1/2 cup granulated sugar + 1 tsp vanilla
whisk in 1 egg
add in 1 1/2 cup all purpose flour +’1/2 tsp baking soda
fold in 1/2 cup chocolate chips of choice
scoop on a lined baking sheet (makes 12 total)
bake for 3 min, lower temp to 350F and bake for another 7-9 min or until golden
