Ingredients
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tbsp ground flaxseed optional
- 1 cup mashed banana
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup Unsweetened almond milk
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3/4 cup dark chocolate chips

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350F
- In a bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, cinnamon and flaxseed
- In another bowl, mix the bananas, eggs, milk, maple syrup and vanilla
- Add flour mixture to wet mixture and stir until fully combined
- Fold in chocolate chips
- Scoop into oiled/lined muffin pan and bake for 22 minutes (or until toothpick comes out clean)

*to make a loaf/bread: pour batter into parchment lined bread pan and bake at 350F for 50-55 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean*
Store in airtight container on at room temp for 4 days/refrigerator for up to 1 week
